IIoT is currently the topic in industrial automation. Numerous multi-component solutions are offered, consisting of separate signal converters, controllers, fieldbuses, gateways, etc.
These components often "speak" protocol languages that are not suitable for further processing in the Intranet/Internet.
With the UA-5231 IIoT Gateway, Spectra offers an all-rounder that captures the data of different fieldbus components, controllers or controllers and provides these higher-level services such as SCADA, MES, ERP systems or even private/public cloud services.
For this purpose, the IIoT gateway converts the format of the field data from Modbus TCP/RTU/ASCII to OPC UA and MQTT.
The two most important exchange formats for Industry 4.0 and IIoT are offered via the built-in OPC UA Server and the MQTT Broker.
The IIoT Gateway is configured via a web-based user interface.
