State-of-the-art platform for automation solutions of the future

As a system developer of modern automation solutions, deciding on the right computer platform is a crucial step in the development process. New high-end applications in industrial automation, such as artificial intelligence (AI), require ever faster, but also secure processing of large amounts of data.
 

We provide such a platform with the Micro ATX boards of the MB998 series. The board series is equipped with the CPU socket LGA1700, which accepts Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5/i3 processors of the 13th and 12th generation. With the 13th generation processors, Intel continues the hybrid architecture introduced with the 12th generation.  Three major upgrades have been implemented: Double efficiency cores, more clock speed for the performance cores and an increased cache, which provides up to 15% more single-core and over 30% more multi-core performance compared to previous models. This outstanding performance is supported by two DDR5 SO-DIMM sockets, which can be equipped with up to 64 GB. Thus equipped, the platform offers a high level of speed, responsiveness and efficiency in handling intensive computing tasks.

Since security and control are also paramount, the MB998 series gives you features such as iAMT (16.1) and fTPM to ensure enhanced security, system monitoring and manageability.
 

The 5G-ready board features HDMI (2.0b), DVI-D and dual DisplayPort(1.4) (DP++) display interfaces. Two high-speed Intel 2.5G LAN ports, as well as four USB 3.2, two USB 3.1, two USB 2.0 and four COM ports give you plenty of connectivity options. Four SATA III and a range of M.2 slots with B-key, E-key and two M-key variants allow you to harness the full potential of high-speed storage for fast boot times and quick data access. With one PCIe x16 and two PCIe x4 slots, the board offers plenty of room for expansion cards to meet your individual needs.
