The manageable IGS-5225 Gigabit Ethernet switch from Spectra is unrivalled in its combination of compactness and functionality. With a slim housing only 32 mm wide, this switch saves space on the DIN rail in the control cabinet. However, it can be administered and can thus meet the high industrial requirements with regard to data security.
It provides advanced IPv6/IPv4 management interfaces, extensive L2/L4 switching functions and static Layer 3 routing functions.
They ensure reliable routing of the data according to individual criteria. Setup is user-friendly via Web and SNMP interfaces.
The compact switch provides a total of 6 Gigabit Ethernet ports (4 x RJ45, 2 x SFP). Using the SFP ports and suitable modules, local connections of up to 550 meters in multimode or longer backbone connections of up to 120 kilometers in single mode are possible.
A redundant power supply, a robust IP30 housing and an operating temperature range of -40 to 75 °C ensure the industrial requirements for reliability and robustness.
