FREE RIDE FOR DATA
Machine and plant networks require fast Ethernet connections. Multi-port Ethernet switches are often used at the nodes. These switches usually only have a 100 Mbit uplink port through which the data of all connections is "squeezed", leading to delays.
The IFGS-1822TF industrial Ethernet switch provides a solution to this problem.
It provides two Gigabit Uplink ports for its 16 Fast Ethernet ports, which enable a "free ride for the data" due to their higher transmission speed. The uplink can be implemented either in copper or fiber optic (combo port).
The IFGS-1822TF is ideally equipped for use in industrial environments. It has an extended temperature range from -40°C to +75°C, a robust metal housing, 6kV ESD protection and a wide range voltage input from 12 to 48VDC. It also complies with the Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) standard according to IEEE 802.3az. The switch can be mounted on the DIN rail and on the wall.
