For particularly compact and fanless embedded solutions with high performance requirements, we recommend our 3.5" board series IB836. You can choose from three 6th generation Intel® Atom® x6000E (Elkhart Lake) processor variants with a TDP range from 6W to 12W. The well thought-out thermal concept, in which all heat-generating components are combined on the underside of the board, enables an extended operating temperature of -40°C to 85°C.

The Elkhart Lake processor generation offers up to 50% better CPU performance and up to twice the graphics performance of the previous generation. All boards in the series feature dual DDR4-2400 SO-DIMMs for up to 32GB of memory and In-Band Error-Correcting Code (IBECC) functionality that corrects single-bit memory errors in standard non-ECC memory. And integrated Intel® Gen11 graphics allow you to drive up to three independent displays via two DisplayPorts (DP & Type C) and an eDP or 24-bit dual-channel LVDS interface.
 

Despite the small dimensions of only 102 x 147 mm, the compact board allows you to connect numerous peripheral devices. Three Intel® Gigabit Ethernet LAN connections ensure fast data transfer. One M.2 (E-Key) and one mPCIe slot, four COM, two SATA III, four USB 3.1, two USB 2.0 and one USB type C connection round off the possibilities.
