M.2 is the successor of the mSATA interface. Industrial M.2 SSDs require 40% less space than industrial mSATA SSDs. We offer industrial M.2 SSDs with a capacity of up to 2 TB in the 2242 or 2280 form factor. Depending on the version also with extended temperature range.
NVMe Protocol
NVMe is currently the leading interface technology for industrial SSDs. With NVMe technology, industrial SSDs can achieve very high read and write speeds of up to 5,000 MBytes/s.
Powerguard function
The Powerguard function provides additional power during an unexpected power failure. This ensures that the SSD can complete the ongoing flash write operation, protecting data integrity. If the power supply drops below a certain, predefined value, information is sent to the host that no more data will be sent. And despite the interrupted data transfer, the data remains in the DRAM. The capacitors supply additional current, thus ensuring that the remaining data can be played into the NAND memory while protecting the firmware and the allocation table.
