In times when on-site personnel is reduced or even works completely from the home office, automatic notification in case of malfunctions or alarms of machines or systems is especially important. The application has many names, the function is always the same: "Send an SMS when an alarm signal is pending". Typical applications are on the one hand the switching of door and gate openers as well as lighting and alarm systems and on the other hand the control of door sensors, motion detectors, fire detectors or level sensors as well as the sending of corresponding alarm messages.

The GX107 SMS fault transmitter has a galvanically isolated digital input for monitoring switching states and an analogue input for measuring a DC voltage or a temperature (using an optional sensor).

When the digital input is activated (Off -> ON) or when the preset limit value at the analogue input is exceeded (measured value > limit value), the module sends an alarm SMS to up to 6 predefined telephone numbers.

The two integrated switching outputs can be switched remotely via SMS or by call (Incall) as acknowledgement or immediate reaction. The complete configuration is simply done via SMS. If the reception strength of the integrated antenna is not sufficient for a GSM connection, a weatherproof GSM antenna (optional) with 3m cable can be connected externally to the fault indicator. The SMS transmitter GX107 is very compact (64 x 43 x 88 mm) and can also be used in harsh environments due to its IP66-protected housing and operating temperatures from -20°C to +75°C.
