"I still need that reading!"

Often it is a long way from the receiving sensor to the display of the measured value.  The data must pass through I/O systems as well as fieldbus and IT components, then arrive at the PLC or host PC, where it is recorded by the control software and finally displayed on the HMI device in sensible physical units.  With the universal Ethernet I/Os of the ET-7000 series, a fast and direct view of the measurement data is immediately possible. Simply connect to a panel PC or notebook via Ethernet and display the data of the analog and digital sensors in the browser with just one click on the internal module web page. With a further click, digital control signals or analog default values can be set on the output side.

The I/O module ET-7026 is particularly well suited for this purpose, because with its channel combination of 6 analog inputs (0-10V, 0/4-20mA), 2 analog outputs (0-10V, 0/4-20mA), 2 digital inputs/counters (0/24V, up to 100Hz) and 2 digital outputs (open collector) the module is very versatile and offers connection for most common digital and analog sensors and actuators.

Also preferred in decentralized installations are the versions with dual LAN. The ET-7200 modules can be easily connected in series (daisy-chained) using the "daisy chaining" technology, which considerably reduces the installation effort.

For more special sensors and actuators, such as temperature measurement with PT100 or power switching via power relays, there are over 30 I/O modules with different channel specifications to choose from.  Common to all Ethernet I/Os of the ET-7000 series is the display of values via browser and the Modbus TCP communication protocol as well as the industrial features of DIN rail mounting, the extended operating temperature range from -25° to 75°C and the wide input voltage range from 10 to 30VDC.
