Analog inputs for LAN and WAN

Nowadays, the acquisition and evaluation of analogue measurement data from machines and systems does not only take place within a factory building. With the advent of IoT applications in automation, sensors are integrated into the WAN (Wide Area Network) and thus accessible worldwide.

With its 8 analogue input channels, the ET-2217CI offers you the possibility to acquire up to 8 sensors simultaneously. Here, the electrical signal standard 0-10V or 4-20mA is used for the analogue measuring range of industrial sensors. The two adjustable sampling rates of 10 Hz/channel in normal mode and 200Hz/channel in fast mode give you additional flexibility with regard to process dynamics.

And for the transmission of the measurement data you can choose between 2 protocols: The master-slave based LAN protocol Modbus TCP ( e.g. for the connection to a local PLC or to a host PC) or the publish-subscribe based WAN protocol MQTT (e.g. for an integration of the measured values into an IoT application).

The narrow vertical design of only 33mm and the convenient push-in connection technology as well as the 3000V channel-to-channel isolation and the wide temperature range of 25°C to 75°C allow you to use the ET 2271CI in a wide range of industrial applications.
